Fairy tales have fascinated me for as long as I can remember, and they
influence so much of my art work, even when I don’t realize it. From the dark,
original tales that have a lot more blood and gore in them than you would
expect, to the lighter, Disney versions, I just love fairy stories! And I have
a huge collection of books, fairy dolls, ornaments, miniature castles,
costumes, wings, crystals and glitter to prove it.
I have had this idea bouncing around in my head for some time, and finally got to try it out last week. Here is a little bottle full of fairy luck, including a magic wand, crystals, glitter and a tiny wishbone!
I plan on making many more of these, perhaps even some tiny ones to wear as necklaces. Who doesn’t need a little more luck in their lives?
